I've been waiting for this to come out for a while now, ever since it hit the film circuits and festivals and had audiences raving.
Basically it's an over the top ultr-violent and gory exploitation flick paying homage to the style of undergound seedy films that came out in the late 70's and early 80's. It started out as a contest by Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino for a Grindhouse challenge asking people to come up with fake trailers. This one was so impressive, that Jason Eisener got the go ahead to produce a full length feature film. And from the looks of the trailer alone, it seems he had no restrictions whatsoever. Awesome!
I doubt you'll be able to get this at any major retailer, so online is your best bet or you can netflix it. Follow the link at the bottom to purchase it via Amazon where it's reasonably priced.
Here's the synopsis via Amazon where you can pick this sucker up:
A train pulls into the station it s the end of the line. A Hobo jumps from a freight car, hoping for a fresh start in a new city. Instead, he finds himself trapped in an urban hell. This is a world where criminals rule the streets and Drake, the city's crime boss, reigns supreme alongside his sadistic murderous sons, Slick & Ivan. Amidst the chaos, the Hobo comes across a pawn shop window displaying a second hand lawn mower. He dreams of making the city a beautiful place and starting a new life for himself. But as the brutality continues to rage around him, he notices a shotgun hanging above the lawn mower... Quickly, he realizes the only way to make a difference in this town is with that gun in his hand and two shells in its chamber.
